Card tests on a WIXOSS card?
There are many different tests performed on MTG cards to test its authenticity. So what happens if we use the same tests on a WIXOSS card?
The first test is the light test, which you use a torchlight and see how much light is shined through the card itself.
If we were to rank how much light passes through these different card games. It will be in this sequence:
(Least Light) Flesh and Blood TCG -> Pokemon TCG -> MTG -> WIXOSS TCG (Most Light)
It almost look we are shining a spot light on the Darkness Eater from the front rather than the back. (I guess… she only eat darkness.. not the light away)
Second test is the Bend test. MTG cards are famous for being able to survive a bend test which is a test where u pinch the top and the bottom end of the card together like as seen in the image above. So… how do our cards fair?
MTG, Pokemon and FAB all survived the bend test! no crease was formed!
But…..
Well….to be fair, WIXOSS TCG cards are slightly thicker which you are able to feel it when you are holding one. I suppose that’s why a crease was formed as thicker card means reduced flexibility.
The third and most gruesome test….rip test….(literally R.I.P)
Rip test is usually used to check for the core lining of a TCG card. Usually its blue or black core as seen in the image above for the MTG, Pokemon and FAB cards.
Interestingly, WIXOSS TCG cards doesn’t have a colored core, but it looks like its formed with a couple of white layers which makes the card thick. I guess this method probably isn’t helpful when testing WIXOSS cards
A repeated Rip test but this time with foiled/holo/parallel/bling whichever you preferred to call them.
The results is interesting. Using the same amount of force while ripping a normal card, The FAB, Pokemon and MTG cards hold up pretty good which feels like i’m ripping an elastic thin sheet of plastic.
BUT…. when doing the same for WIXOSS, it “snapped”, it just snapped into two pieces.
Summary
It is definitely fun to use some of these techniques on WIXOSS. Although we know that FAB, MTG and Pokemon have some of their products printed by the same company hence having similar result, i was still hoping for a different result.
Let’s hope that one day, we truly need a way to authenticate WIXOSS cards as this simply meant that the game had grown so huge that it creates interest for counterfeit cards.
It will be a happy problem.
Peace and stay safe.
Censorship have started..
So..when you thought censorship is not coming to WIXOSS as we see the cards from WXDi-P00 Interlude Diva remaining their original art.
Let’s welcome Nobunaga, Crimson General Queen! (Censored version!)
If you didn’t spot any difference, its basically just a small change of wardrobe for the queen. From bikini to corset.. maybe winter’s coming… cold…..
Don’t catch a cold people
Peace and stay safe!

Breaking News! Crack all Packs!
After checking with our few extremely lucky friends whom managed to open ??? rarity cards, we found out that….
THE BOX COMES WITH ANOTHER SCR/DiR !!
So… this simply means that one shall not stop cracking packs when he/she hits the SCR/DiR of the box!
Clear them all!
If you have that pack lying around in the house …
Crack it opennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!
On other news! …
An update to the pull rates!
In total (at least within my group that i have info) out of 14 cases, there are a total of 4 cases without an DiR! but there’s 2 cases with 2 DiRs
that’s a 30% miss rate
"screams internally”
In the meantime, do enjoy the game and look forward to the next set coming in Dec !
Peace and stay safe

What is the pull rate for a WIXOSS case?
This is probably the first question to come to everyone’s mind when it comes to purchasing booster boxes and even booster cases.
What is the pull rate for a WIXOSS WXDi-P00 Interlude Diva English Booster Box?
What is the pull rate for a WIXOSS WXDi-P00 Interlude Diva English Booster Case?
The following are the different rarity and card finishings you may open in a WIXOSS English booster box:
C: Common
C: Common - Parallel (Holographic)
R: Rare
R: Rare - Parallel (Holographic)
L: LRIG
L: LRIG - Parallel (Holographic)
ST : STarter deck cards - Parallel (Holographic)
SR : Super Rare (Only Holographic version)
SCR : Secret Rares (Will be parallel versions of LRIGs and some SRs)
DiR : Diva Rare (Signed cards and golden bordered parallels)
??? : (Parallel of LRIG, almost like winning a lottery)
So in this experiment, we took down the pull rates of each of the above rarities (less the ??? as we do not have sufficient boxes to do a statistic on this)
Interestingly, when we thought we could conclude that each case will minimally have a DiR, the 4th case does not have a single DiR ! Which… followed by 5th and 6th case so that we can conclude our findings. The 5th and 6th cases each have 1 DiR each.
So in short, expect minimally a SCR or higher rarity in each booster box and an average of one DiR for each case. Also, do expect extreme fluctuations in the Common and Rare Parallels as highlighted in red above. But I guess, some may just group them together haha….
In Summary. It may be much more of a viable option to find a few friends to share a case, so at least someone in the group will bring home a DiR or in some cases, two of these lucky friends. Just hope that zero DiR case doesn’t come….
